Need to renew your rego? Visit Andy’s A1 Auto Care in Shellharbour. We offer inspections for different types of vehicles and circumstances, including pink slips. 

A pink slip, otherwise known as an eSafety check, is a legal requirement to register light vehicles older than five years. It proves that your car is roadworthy. Our workshop is authorised to provide this service. We’ll check all components of your vehicle and issue a pink slip or a list of repairs to pass the inspection. To save yourself the trouble of conversing with multiple mechanics, book in for repairs with us. 

Pink slips are valid for six months after the safety check, so you must renew your rego within this timeframe. 

If your vehicle has been unregistered for three months or more, you’ll need a blue slip to verify that it’s safe and fit for the road. This also applies to cars transferring from historic registration to normal and all trailer types up to four and a half tonnes, including camper vans, boat trailers and caravans.
